Misty McReynolds APRN, PMHNP-BC

Misty McReynolds is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a passion for holistic mental health care. She began her journey in healthcare at Butler Community College, earning her RN in 2010 and her BSN from Tabor College in 2015. Misty’s path to specializing in mental health was deeply influenced by her personal experiences growing up with family members who struggled with ADHD, ODD, and substance use as well as her own children’s mental health challenges. Witnessing the impact of stigma and the lack of resources in her rural community fueled her dedication to making a difference.

As a nurse and a mother, Misty immersed herself in the world of mental health support, collaborating with medical, mental health, and holistic providers. Her fascination with the brain and nervous system led her to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health, which she recently completed in April 2024. Misty is committed to integrating holistic principles into her practice and is currently pursuing a functional integrative health certification through Psychiatry Redefined to complement her traditional training.

Misty is the founder of The Pause, a holistic health co-working space dedicated to fostering collaboration among holistic providers. Through The Pause, she has built a supportive community of practitioners who prioritize whole-person care and share expertise in integrative approaches to health. Misty believes in the power of collaboration and sees her partnership with Season Health as an extension of the collaborative spirit. Her approach to patient care is centered on listening to her clients’ goals for their health and co-authoring their mental health and healing journey together.

In her free time, Misty enjoys doing as little as possible. She believes in prioritizing rest. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and in nature.
